Bay Viewers: Tell Your Story

On June 30, Aug 6, Aug 13, and Aug 27th, between 10am and 2pm, students from Bay View High School will be at the Observatory to record your neighborhood stories.

  • Record your Bay View family or community story.
  • Have your photo taken for a Bay View community gallery.
  • Bring artifacts specific to Bay View, old photos specific to the neighborhood or family, or historic newspaper clippings for scanning and documentation.

Stories about friendships, the interesting people that you know, backyard stories, stories about growing up. Stories of how the neighborhood has changed over the years. Your personal histories and old photographs will make the history of the neighborhood more complete and more interesting.

The Bay View Observatory, located at 2590 S. Superior Street on the lawn of the Beulah Brinton House, is open to the public through the end of August. Stop by and celebrate the vibrant and unique neighborhood of Bay View.
